Using Alli's Q\&A direct upload feature, you can add a large number of Q\&A entries to the knowledge base at once. You can add Q\&As with just a simple Question column and Answer column, and more efficient uploads are possible through additional column options and column name change features. Supported file formats are TSV, CSV, XLSX, and ZIP.

**Column types that can be added during upload**

Except for columns that are not numbered, each corresponds to a specific element of each Q\&A registered in Alli's knowledge base.

**Column name customization**

You can change the column names of the Q\&A file you upload. This feature is especially useful if you want to use an existing Q\&A database directly in Alli without changing the column names.

To change column names, go to Settings > General tab and scroll to the 'Change Q\&A upload format' section.

<figure><img src="https://1992034230-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhfOaW8xkP2ul7rAY1EBF%2Fuploads%2FNntWl7UUeUMoJ9zcWNsx%2F%E1%84%89%E1%85%B3%E1%84%8F%E1%85%B3%E1%84%85%E1%85%B5%E1%86%AB%E1%84%89%E1%85%A3%E1%86%BA%202025-03-17%20%E1%84%8B%E1%85%A9%E1%84%8C%E1%85%A5%E1%86%AB%2010.25.03.png?alt=media&#x26;token=778654a9-05cc-484e-af92-e788c7fc6cb3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Enter the column names you want to change and click the Save button, and you can use custom column names in the Q\&A file you upload.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.allganize.ai/allganize-alli-works-userguide-en/q-and-a/bulk-upload-q-and-a.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
