Automatically generate Q&A from documents

Alli can now automatically generate question/answer pairs from uploaded documents using an LLM model. Alli's AI can now assist with FAQ creation tasks that previously had to be done manually, and using it is very simple.

When you click the document for which you want to generate Q&A, a 'Auto-generate Q&A' button appears at the bottom right.

Clicking the generate button displays model selection and various options.

1. Select model and prompt

• Select model: Choose the LLM model you want to use.

• Default settings: The 'Auto-generate Q&A' prompt is provided as the default option.

• Customize prompt: You can modify the prompt as needed to specify the desired Q&A format.

2. Specify page range

• Enter page numbers: Set the range of pages for which Q&A will be generated. Enter the desired page numbers to define the range.

3. Enable sample generation option

• Enable sample generation: You can see an example of the Q&A generation method for a specific page.

4. Check credit consumption

• Credit calculation by model and page range: Check in advance the amount of credits consumed when using an LLM model and manage resources efficiently based on credit usage.

5. Generate Q&A

• Click the 'Generate' button: After specifying all options, press the 'Generate' button to start the Q&A generation task.

• 'Generating' status display: When you click the generate button, an action labeled 'Generating' is shown for that document. At this time, it is also possible to cancel the Q&A generation.

• Asynchronous processing: The generation task runs asynchronously, and when it completes you can view the results in the Q&A tab.

How to check generated Q&A

To check the generated Q&A, first go to the knowledge base. Then select the 'Q&A Candidates' tab in the top menu. Next, run the filter search function and set the filter option to the condition 'Automatically generated from document.' This will display only the Q&A automatically created from documents by the generative model, making it easier to find the information you want.

The automatically generated Q&A can be added to the Q&A database by the responsible person after review by pressing the + button at the bottom right of the card.
